I'm a writer, storyteller, visual artist, and filmmaker with a degree in animation. For over 20 years, I've worked in various roles in multimedia design and digital marketing, both as a freelancer and for employers.
Many of these engagements were with start-up companies, which almost always involved building their brand from the ground up. I would often lead the creation of their brand's logo, then follow that up by creating their print and digital assets, all the way through developing their website.
As projects got bigger, I'd also take on a more managerial role, subcontracting other creatives and developers to ensure projects met their deadlines and stayed consistent with branding guidelines.
Later on, I became involved in conceptualizing and delivering their ad campaigns as well.
Sometimes that meant scouting and working with on-camera or voice talent. As a short-film filmmaker and director, I know how to scout and work with talent and production teams to get the content needed.
Often, that talent was the business owners themselves, who can be uncomfortable on camera, and I'm able to put them at ease so they can deliver the soundbites their brand's videos and ads need.
With this experience and range of skills, I believe I'd be a strong fit for this role.
Well every brand should have a style sheet with its own 1-2 font, iconography, and color scheme. The brands name, location, product type and competitors usually plays a big role in deciding how all these will get put together for its unique look and voice from there on.
It depends on the goal of the post, but I look at three groups. Reach and impressions show whether the content is being seen. Engagement, meaning shares, saves, comments and watch time, shows whether it's landing. For video, retention and completion rate matter most, because they tell me if the hook worked. Then there's action: link clicks, profile visits and traffic to the site or TikTok Shop. For a brand like Flex Seal, I'd weight shares and saves heavily, because that's what makes content spread. Likes are the weakest signal, so I don't build strategy around them.
You need someone who can own the calendar for the U.S. and international markets, make the content themselves, and prove what's working.
That's what I've been doing for years. At Plastimold I created viral videos for YouTube, Instagram and Facebook and ran influencer outreach, and at FNBC Florida I managed social, ads and video promos. I shoot, edit and write, so I don't need a handoff between idea and finished post.
I'm also bilingual in Spanish, which matters for your Mexico audience, and I know the difference between translating a joke and making it land.
Finally, I get the brand. Flex Seal made advertising entertaining. That's the voice I'd want to protect and build on."

And I work from data. I track what performs, repeat it, and drop what doesn't. [Add one real result here, like a video that outperformed or a growth number.]
Finally, I get the brand. Flex Seal seems to make its advertising entertaining and never took itself too seriously. That's the voice I'd want to protect and build on, and I'm local, so I can be in the office and on events without a long ramp-up."
